This is my 1st time ever using supplements. In the past few years I have somewhat let myself go. Meaning I ate like **** but still managed to get in exercise. I rode my bike 1500 miles this past summer but never lost a pound. I was right around 245-250lbs. I changed up my diet and started this most recent journey at 238lbs back in mid January. I have been hitting both cardio and weights 5-6 days a week (minus one week, had a skiing incident that put me out of commission)in addition to other activities like skating and skiing. My diet consists of maintaining my carbs under 50grams a day, that's it! As far as the supplements working, I honestly have no idea. I do know the pre workout fires me up for my entire workout! I'm really not keen on the flavor though and it shakes out even a bit gritty. COVID did mess with my taste so I'll blame it on that. Oh and you'll sweat like you are in the jungles of Thailand. I always do cardio first. It allows me to maintain an elevated heart rate for the beginning of my weights. During my cardio I'll pound about 20oz of straight water. Prior to weights I make up my aminos and drink that during my weight session. Grape flavor tastes great. Immediately after my workout I will have a protein shake. It's like a dessert for accomplishing the workout. I love the Vanilla flavor. And it only has 1g of carbs.....bonus! As far as the pills I just follow the recommendations on the bottles. Do not take some on an empty stomach, you'll feel it. I have not used the multivitamins yet due to already having an open bottle needing finished. I feel like my recovery period has greatly decreased in the past month all while continuing to put in more and more work.
